My favorite form of printmaking is linoleum. I love it. The process of destroying your source image as a sacrifice to the art you are creating is a fascinating concept to me. Plus the process of carving, printing, registration, and pulling prints is a great stress reliever for me. Here is a sample of some of my lino prints over the most recent years. Lately, I have been tailoring my technique to favor a vintage feel from the 20s and 30s. My most recent prints reflect that change. |
